Surgery Opening Hours

The surgery buildings are open for business during the hours shown:

The Surgery closes for lunch between 1pm and 2pm each day except Wednesdays when we stay open all day. 

Once a month on a Wednesday afternoon there is a late start in order to allow the doctors attend a city-wide GP training forum. This is called the Protected Learning Time (PLT). During this time emergency cover is provided by the Coventry GP Out-of-hours service.

Most urgent appointments would be seen on the same day.

Please telephone for an appointment before coming to the surgery.

Out of Hours

If you require a doctor in a medical emergency outside normal working hours, please contact the surgery and have a pen and paper ready to take the contact details that you will be given by the recorded message.

Our Out-of-Hours cover is normally provided by the local NHS Walk-In Centre and the Coventry OOH GP Service.

Remember that whatever the day or time if you experience sudden severe chest pain, sudden loss of blood or suspect any broken bones the nearest Accident & Emergency department is situated at the new University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. It is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, A&E does not stand for Anything & Everything. People who use the A&E service for minor problems may prevent others from getting the immediate care that they need.

The '999' service is also available but we advice that this should only be used in life-threatening situations.
